File-in / file-out repair tool
Privacy Policy
CommerceFix scans Shopify product CSV files in the browser for the free preview. The free preview is limited to issue counts, issue categories, and the first five examples.
What the tool handles
- Shopify product CSV files selected by the user.
- CSV headers and rows needed to show the limited preview.
- Checkout and delivery metadata only when the user starts a paid repair flow.
What CommerceFix does not need
- No Shopify login.
- No Shopify API token.
- No automatic import into Shopify.
- No permanent storage of full CSV files unless a paid delivery workflow explicitly requires it.
Checkout metadata is used to create a PayPal-hosted payment session and link a verified payment event to the uploaded CSV.
Paid repair generation runs behind a trusted payment event and controlled generation endpoint.
Retention
- Free browser previews are not uploaded unless the user starts hosted checkout.
- Uploaded CSV files, generated packages, and order metadata are kept only as long as needed for paid repair delivery, support, fraud review, and tax/payment records.
- Download links expire according to the package retention window shown by the order status page.
- Customers may request deletion of uploaded CSV files after delivery by emailing support with the order id.
Human access
CommerceFix may inspect uploaded CSV files only to debug failed generation, support a paid order, or review abuse. CommerceFix does not ask for Shopify passwords, cookies, API tokens, or admin access.
